Alchemy Pay integrates fiat on-ramps into Telegram-based Walt app

The integration leverages Alchemy Pay’s support for over 50 fiat currencies and 300 distinct payment channels, including Visa, Mastercard, mobile wallets, and local bank transfers. This bridge allows users to convert traditional funds into digital assets and liquidate holdings back into local currencies without leaving the messaging environment. The collaboration marks a significant expansion for Walt, formerly known as Wallet in Telegram, which recently rebranded to reflect its evolution into a comprehensive digital asset platform.

Since its rebranding on September 28, 2026, Walt has moved beyond basic Bitcoin and Toncoin storage. The platform now supports over 300 cryptocurrencies across four blockchains, alongside tokenized assets and perpetual futures. Unlike Telegram’s native non-custodial 'Money' wallet, Walt functions as a custodial service where the platform manages private keys. CEO Andrew Rogozov has signaled further development, recently launching AI-assisted trading features for perpetual futures. Alchemy Pay, which currently holds 19 US Money Transmitter Licenses and various international regulatory registrations, continues to expand its footprint in the ecosystem following earlier partnerships with The Open Network and Ledger.
