Shibarium Resolves Reorg as Infrastructure Migration Continues

The resolution was relayed by Shiba Inu community member Mazrael, who cited an update from developer Kaal Dhairya. According to the communication, the reorg is solved, but dRPC must complete the same transition within the network's updated environment. The current technical documentation confirms that Shibarium has shifted to a new RPC endpoint, rpc.shibarium.shib.io, designated for chain ID 109. This move follows a broader infrastructure overhaul that began in late 2025.

Node operators have been directed to rotate their Bor and Heimdall peer lists to align with the new network configuration. While the Ethereum chain registry now reflects these updated endpoints, other parts of the ecosystem are still catching up. Shibariumscan, the network’s block explorer, recently showed partial reindexing progress, and the official SHIB ecosystem status page indicates that validator staking remains under maintenance. There is no public timeline for the completion of these remaining infrastructure tasks, and no evidence suggests the September 2026 reorg was linked to a security breach or asset theft.
