The week was defined by volatility following a 25-basis-point interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve. Bitcoin funds bore the brunt of midweek selling, losing over $746 million across Tuesday and Wednesday. However, a massive $433 million injection on Friday allowed Bitcoin products to recover, closing the week with a modest $6.1 million net gain. BlackRock’s IBIT led the sector with $120.6 million in inflows, while ARK 21Shares’ ARKB faced the heaviest selling pressure, shedding $141.9 million.
Ether ETFs failed to mirror this late-week recovery. Despite a $143.7 million inflow on Friday, the category remained in the red, with BlackRock’s ETHA and Bitwise’s ETHW among those reporting consistent outflows. Meanwhile, Solana funds outperformed expectations, drawing $60.7 million in capital. Bitwise’s BSOL dominated this category, securing $58.7 million—or nearly 97% of the total Solana inflow—largely driven by a robust $47.6 million finish on Friday. Hyperliquid products added a marginal $3.1 million to round out the weekly activity.
