Crypto VC Funding: Payward and Latitude Lead $151M Weekly Haul

Crypto firms secured $151 million across five disclosed financing rounds between September 5 and 11, 2026. A $100 million strategic agreement between Nasdaq Ventures and Kraken parent Payward dominated the week, while Latitude’s $35 million Series A signaled growing investor interest in stablecoin-based cross-border payment infrastructure.

Crypto VC Funding: Payward and Latitude Lead $151M Weekly Haul

The Payward deal accounts for roughly two-thirds of the weekly total, though it represents an investment agreement rather than immediate capital injection. The partnership aims to integrate Nasdaq’s market surveillance technology with Payward’s xStocks infrastructure, alongside plans to launch a joint equity-token design by the second quarter of 2027. This collaboration highlights a push to bridge traditional securities-market infrastructure with digital asset trading environments.

Latitude’s $35 million Series A, led by Oak HC/FT, focuses on the practical application of stablecoins for international settlements. By securing money-transmitter approvals across 45 U.S. markets, the company aims to streamline how businesses convert stablecoins into local-currency payments. This round represents a significant expansion for the firm, which previously raised $8 million earlier this year.

Smaller funding rounds rounded out the week’s activity. Antarctic Exchange closed a $7 million round for its derivatives platform at a $70 million valuation, while RealGo secured $6 million for Web3 gaming development. Additionally, geospatial data project TINA raised $3 million to expand its dashcam ecosystem. While firms like TRM Labs reached a $2 billion valuation following a Series C expansion, these figures remain excluded from the $151 million total as the specific capital raised was not disclosed.
