The integration allows companies building on Solana to accept payments via banking and cryptocurrency channels, move funds between networks like Ethereum and TRON, and deliver payouts in preferred currencies. Businesses can utilize the full suite of services or select individual components that integrate with their existing payment architecture, avoiding the need to migrate their products to the Polygon chain.
Kira, a financial technology firm specializing in stablecoin-to-dollar conversions for import brokers and OTC desks, has already adopted the service. CEO Edrizio De La Cruz noted that the partnership solves the critical challenge of converting Solana-based stablecoin transfers into fiat currency for international supplier payments. Polygon Labs CEO Sandeep Nailwal emphasized that the goal is to allow businesses to operate on their preferred blockchain while using Polygon’s infrastructure to handle complex money movement.
This development follows a year of significant growth for Solana, which recorded over $5 trillion in stablecoin volume throughout 2026. The infrastructure also incorporates assets from Polygon’s recent acquisition of Coinme, which secured money transmitter licenses across 48 U.S. states. By providing embedded wallets and automated payment routing, the system removes the need for end-users to interact directly with blockchain bridges, effectively bridging the gap between volatile crypto assets and regulated banking services.
