Spiko, operating from London and Paris, secured its $90 million Series B led by New Enterprise Associates to scale its tokenized cash funds. The company currently manages $2.7 billion in assets for over 10,000 clients and plans to use the capital to push into German, Italian, Spanish, and Nordic markets. Meanwhile, Nous Research reached a $1.5 billion valuation following its own $90 million round, backed by heavyweights including Nvidia, Microsoft’s M12, and Samsung. The firm intends to deploy these funds to advance its open AI development and expand its Hermes business software suite.

Robotics and insurance players also saw significant capital inflows. Sequoia Capital led a $60 million Series B for Mecka, a startup building infrastructure to process human movement data for robot training. In the insurance space, Bermuda-based Meanwhile raised $37.5 million to expand its Bitcoin-denominated life insurance offerings for high-net-worth clients across Asia and the Middle East. Other notable activity included Catalyst’s $30 million seed round for AI trading agents and a strategic investment in OKX that valued the exchange at $25 billion, though the specific financial terms of that deal remained undisclosed.
