Crypto Financing Trends: Jeeves Leads $178 Million Week

Venture funding in the digital asset space reached $178.6 million between September 26 and October 2, anchored by a massive $110 million equity round for the Miami-based payments firm Jeeves. The week underscored a shift toward stablecoin-integrated business infrastructure and strategic private token placements.

Jeeves secured the lion’s share of the week’s capital, with CoinFund leading an equity round backed by heavyweights including Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, and GIC. The firm, which facilitates corporate cards and treasury tools, reported an annualized payment volume topping $5 billion, with stablecoins accounting for $1.5 billion of that total. Plans for the new capital include expanding its stablecoin-based card services into 10 additional countries and establishing a new office in Madrid.

Elsewhere, capital flows took diverse forms. World Assets offloaded $49 million in WLD tokens through private sales featuring one-year lockup periods, while the Nasdaq-listed Solana Company executed a $15 million registered direct offering. The latter move, priced at a 5% premium to net asset value, aims to bolster the firm’s SOL-per-share strategy. Smaller rounds also continued, with Walapay closing a $4.6 million seed round led by Generative Ventures to scale its global payment API across 180 countries. Meanwhile, infrastructure projects Raven and Grass secured undisclosed strategic investments, signaling sustained investor appetite for liquidity solutions and AI-integrated web data harvesting.
