PERPTools Secures $8 Million to Scale Perpetual Trading Ecosystem

PERPTools has raised $8 million across two funding rounds, bolstered by $240 million in trading volume during its private beta. Backed by NEAR, Animoca Brands, and Orderly Network, the platform aims to integrate decentralized perpetual futures and autonomous AI trading agents directly into the existing DEXTools analytics environment.

The project closed a $3 million pre-seed round at a $30 million valuation, followed by a $5 million seed round that reached an $80 million valuation. Key investors including BigBrain Holdings, Sfermion, and Shima Capital joined the effort, which seeks to solve the industry's common "cold start" problem by tapping into the 30 million traders already utilizing DEXTools. By embedding execution layers directly into an established analytics platform, PERPTools allows users to transition from market discovery to trade placement without migrating across different ecosystems.

Infrastructure and Product Integration

Underpinning the platform is Orderly Network’s omnichain liquidity layer, which enables cross-chain perpetual trades without manual asset bridging. CEO Evgen Tokarev, formerly of DEXTools, leads the development alongside CTO Denys Hrechko and CMO Wael Rajab. The team has already deployed three core products: a non-custodial perpetual DEX, the AI Arena for autonomous trading agents, and the Tap Prediction market. The AI Arena allows users to configure trading strategies using natural language, setting specific risk and leverage limits for agents that operate continuously. With the infrastructure established, the team is now finalizing preparations for a token generation event slated for the fourth quarter of 2026, positioning the project to capture a growing share of the decentralized derivatives market.
