Pi Network Struggles as Bearish Momentum Resurfaces

Pi Network has slipped back below the $0.09 threshold following a stalled recovery attempt. The token, recently trading near $0.0878, remains trapped beneath its primary exponential moving averages as buying interest fails to materialize despite ongoing network upgrades and the resolution of thousands of pending KYC applications.

Pi Network Struggles as Bearish Momentum Resurfaces

The token’s inability to sustain a rally above $0.093 has left it positioned under its 20, 50, 100, and 200-day exponential moving averages. These indicators are currently arranged in a bearish formation, signaling that downward pressure remains the dominant trend. Analysts are now watching the $0.085 level closely; a decisive break below this support could expose the $0.080 to $0.082 range, a zone that has previously acted as a critical floor for the asset.

Technical indicators reflect this lack of conviction. The daily MACD remains negative, and the four-hour relative strength index has retreated to 47.27, handing a slight advantage to sellers. While the Pi Core Team has made headway on technical infrastructure—including the transition of Protocol V27 to Testnet 2 and clearing over 417,000 accounts for KYC—these developments have yet to translate into meaningful market demand. With approximately 1.21 billion tokens scheduled for potential release by 2026, the prospect of increased supply continues to weigh on investor sentiment, leaving buyers in need of a reclaim of the $0.0898 and $0.0920 levels to improve the immediate technical outlook.
