Bitpace upgrades payment infrastructure with Fireblocks integration

Bitpace has integrated Fireblocks’ institutional infrastructure into its core platform to streamline cross-border stablecoin settlements. The move enables the payments provider to manage transaction controls, custody, and treasury operations for its global corporate clients without building bespoke security layers for each individual payment flow.

The integration connects Bitpace to a network that processes more than $200 billion in stablecoin volume monthly. By leveraging Fireblocks, Bitpace aims to support higher transaction volumes and facilitate expansion into new international jurisdictions over the coming year. While the company currently handles payments across 75 cryptocurrencies and 40 fiat currencies, the new setup provides a unified architecture for multi-currency treasury activities and automated settlement processes.

Bitpace CEO Anil Oncu stated that the deployment offers increased operational flexibility and security for its wholesale and merchant clients. Fireblocks, which currently serves over 2,500 organizations, recently reported that stablecoins accounted for 69% of all digital asset transaction volume on its platform during the second quarter of 2026. Despite the technical upgrade, Bitpace did not disclose the specific financial value of expected transactions or a detailed timeline for its planned geographic expansion. The company continues to operate under its existing compliance frameworks, including its ISO/IEC 27001 certification and registration as a money services business in Canada.
