Binance Updates Monitoring List and Alpha Recommendations

Four digital assets—AVA, GNS, SCR, and TOWNS—now carry Binance’s Monitoring Tag, signaling increased oversight for projects facing volatility or liquidity concerns. Simultaneously, the exchange trimmed its Alpha discovery list, removing 14 early-stage tokens from the platform's curated recommendations for users of the Binance Wallet.

Binance Updates Monitoring List and Alpha Recommendations

The addition of the Monitoring Tag to AVA, Gains Network, Scroll, and Towns Protocol mandates more frequent scrutiny from the exchange. While these tokens remain tradable on the main spot market, they are subject to periodic reviews of their development activity, tokenomics, and team conduct. Traders engaging with these assets must now complete a risk-awareness quiz every 90 days to ensure they understand the potential for delisting or price instability.

Separately, the Binance Alpha feature, which highlights early-stage projects, discontinued its recommendation of 14 tokens, including MTP, BDXN, TALE, BOS, MAIGA, TIMI, SAROS, U, SERAPH, RVV, AIAV, PENGUIN, ODOS, and SN3. This action, effective since September 4, impacts only the Alpha interface. It does not constitute a full spot market delisting, and users retain the ability to sell or withdraw their holdings through the Binance Wallet. Binance noted that these projects failed to meet updated internal standards, though the exchange did not disclose specific performance failures for individual assets.
