Zama lists ZAMA token on Revolut for European users

Privacy-focused blockchain project Zama has brought its native ZAMA token to Revolut across the European Economic Area. The integration grants the project immediate reach to millions of the fintech platform’s users, allowing them to trade and hold the asset directly within an existing banking and investment interface.

The listing enables Revolut’s European customer base to purchase and manage ZAMA without navigating separate crypto exchange accounts. Users retain the flexibility to keep their tokens within the app or move them to external self-custody wallets. According to the company, trading fees for the asset start at zero, and a "Learn & Earn" campaign is scheduled for later this year to promote the project's focus on blockchain confidentiality.

Zama specializes in fully homomorphic encryption, or FHE, a method that allows smart contracts to process information—such as transaction amounts and financial positions—without decrypting the underlying data. The company frames this as a necessary evolution for onchain finance, comparing the shift to the adoption of encrypted web traffic. Zama’s technology has already seen deployment in decentralized finance through a partnership with Morpho, where it powers a confidential USDC vault that held over $23 million in deposits by mid-July.

This expansion follows a significant February launch, during which Zama utilized its own encryption tools to conduct a sealed-bid Dutch auction on Ethereum, securing more than $121 million in bids while keeping individual data private. By integrating with Revolut, Zama adds a major retail distribution layer to its existing infrastructure, which also includes institutional tools for token distribution and compliance-ready confidential assets.
