Jump Capital Closes $350M Fund to Target Enterprise AI Infrastructure

Jump Capital has secured $350 million for its eighth institutional fund, shifting its focus toward the technical foundations of artificial intelligence. The firm intends to back startups that are rebuilding enterprise software, securing autonomous workflows, and constructing the production-ready infrastructure necessary to move AI beyond the experimental phase.

Jump Capital Closes $350M Fund to Target Enterprise AI Infrastructure

The new capital vehicle targets a specific gap in the market: while corporate interest in AI has surged, the underlying technology stack remains ill-equipped for reliable, large-scale deployment. Jump Capital plans to prioritize "picks-and-shovels" investments, focusing on companies that provide autonomous data engineering, agent observability, and semantic layers for enterprise environments. The firm argues that current software is failing to deliver meaningful returns because infrastructure and security layers have not kept pace with the rapid adoption of AI models.

Investment activity will focus on technical, product-oriented founders, with initial check sizes ranging from $1 million to $4 million and follow-on rounds reaching up to $15 million. The strategy is geographically broad, with a heavy emphasis on North America and Israel. Recent portfolio additions, such as the GPU automation startup Standard Kernel and the AI infrastructure platform TrueFoundry, underscore the firm’s commitment to deep-tech solutions. Beyond core applications, cybersecurity remains a central pillar of the thesis; the firm views security not as a mere compliance hurdle, but as a critical enabler for managing the expanding attack surfaces created by autonomous AI systems.
