Triple-A Hot Wallets Drained in $9.7M Cross-Chain Exploit

Suspicious outflows totaling more than $9.7 million have hit hot wallets linked to Singapore-based payment provider Triple-A. On-chain investigators identified unauthorized transfers spanning at least four major blockchains, with the stolen assets rapidly swapped and consolidated into a single Ethereum address holding over 5,226 ETH.

The security incident, first flagged by analyst Specter, involves a complex draining operation across Ethereum, Solana, TRON, and TON. Blockchain security firm PeckShield corroborated the findings, noting that the attacker converted various stablecoins and tokens into Ether to facilitate easier movement. While some reports suggest the breach may have extended to Polygon and Arbitrum, the full scope of the compromise remains under investigation.

Triple-A, which operates as a licensed financial institution across Singapore, Europe, and the United States, has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the breach. The company has remained silent on whether customer funds were compromised or how the attackers gained access to its infrastructure. Although the firm utilizes Fireblocks for its digital asset operations, there is no evidence suggesting a failure of the custody provider’s technology. As the company navigates this crisis, observers are waiting for confirmation on whether payment operations have been suspended or if the firm can trace the flow of the consolidated funds.
