The company’s performance highlights a broader trend among major custody banks, echoing the recent quarterly gains reported by peers BNY and State Street. This growth coincided with a robust quarter for U.S. stock markets, where investor optimism surrounding AI-linked equities helped offset geopolitical volatility.
Assets under custody and administration rose 11% to $20 trillion by June 30, while assets under management grew 16% to $1.97 trillion. Excluding these notable items, earnings per share still posted a 40% increase, driven by sustained capital markets activity and client asset management services.
