Capital B Sets September Date for 10-for-1 Reverse Stock Split

Capital B will consolidate its stock at a 10-for-1 ratio beginning September 8, a move the French company says is designed to attract a wider pool of institutional investors. The shift reduces total outstanding shares from over 300 million to approximately 30 million, while keeping the aggregate value of holdings intact.

Capital B Sets September Date for 10-for-1 Reverse Stock Split

The consolidation process begins on August 6 and runs through September 7, which marks the final trading day for existing shares under the current structure. Following the split, shares will trade on Euronext Growth Paris with an adjusted par value of €0.80 per share, up from €0.08. Shareholders holding numbers not divisible by 10 have until the September 7 deadline to adjust their positions or face the automatic sale of fractional entitlements by financial intermediaries.

This restructuring accompanies a broader push by the company to solidify its position as Europe’s second-largest publicly listed Bitcoin holder. With 3,139 BTC currently on its balance sheet, Capital B has aggressively expanded its treasury through recent fundraising rounds and shareholder-approved authorizations for up to €5 billion in capital increases. While the reverse split does not directly inject new capital or alter the company's Bitcoin reserves, it serves as a technical adjustment to support the firm's ongoing institutional development and planned entry into Bitcoin-backed credit instruments.
